Are Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Moving To Newport?

Could Rhode Island’s charms have enticed the power couple?

Newport is no stranger to having the rich and famous take residence in the city. It’s kind of what we’re known for. So when people read “Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Moving to Newport, Rhode Island”, it fits. If you read that they were moving to…Central Falls or Fall River, we’re guessing that everyone would be a bit more skeptical.

However…

If you take a closer look at the story from The McKenzie Post that’s currently making the rounds on social media, it should become clear that Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina are not actually moving to Newport. There are a few problems with the story. First, take a look at this paragraph…

Angelina had recently visited Newport while scouting out a film location and according to insiders, “Angelina immediately fell in love with the relaxed lifestyle and the tranquil beauty of Newport and was telling everyone that they were going to move there.”  Brad, who was with her, apparently agreed.  The historical nature of the city was also quite appealing to the Hollywood power couple.

Let’s face it; Newport is a small town. If one of the biggest actresses/director in Hollywood came to the City-By-The-Sea scouting movie locations…with Brad Pitt in tow, there’s a good chance that everyone would be so distracted, we’d forget to hold the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Instead, we’ve heard…well, today we’re hearing a lot of wind…but nothing about Angelina Jolie scouting Newport for movie locations.

Other places Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie are moving to…

There’s also another major red flag about this story. Namely, in the last 24 hours, The McKenzie Post has also reported…

  • Brad Pitt and Angelina Moving to Berea, Kentucky
  • Brad Pitt and Angelina Moving to Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Now, the couple have the means to buy property in all these spots and more, but we find it a little confusing to think that a publication writing all three stories wouldn’t be able to tie them together somehow.

So yeah, this story is fake. Feel free to mock any of your friends who fell for it, mercilessly and with abandon.
