Someone Had A Little Too Much Fun With Park Bench Plaques

Were these pranks or art installations?

Over in the UK, the City of Chester’s Council wants to pass the Public Space Protection Order in order to curb “anti-social” behavior in the city’s parks. Opponents of the Order believe that it’s been introduced to repress “the homeless and vulnerable” and added these plaques to park benches to have a laugh.

While the tactic has drawn global attention to the situation, we’re not sure how much it helps their cause.

After all, there are lots of people who honestly want to help the poor and downtrodden, but that doesn’t mean they enjoy the aggressive panhandlers of Broadway.
