The Audience At Battle Chefs Was SHOCKED When This Secret Ingredient Was Revealed

| The Revolving Door really pushes the limit.
This last week was the last round of the semifinals of Battle Chefs and when it comes to the secret ingredients that the chefs have to work with, things have escalated quickly, though they were never “easy”.
- In Week 1, Ezra Lewis of Blakk Inc faced off against Ryan Loeven of Caleb & Broad using Pigs’ Feet and Squab.
- Week 2, Johnson & Wales Chef Instructor TJ Delle Donne beat Rich Silvia of the White Horse Tavern using Monkfish.
- In Week 3, Devin Ramos of Avenue N went against Basil Yu, formerly of Vanderbilt Grace, with Goat Meat and Duck Testicles.
- Week 4, Matt MacCartney of Jamestown FiSH had to go against Champe Speidel of Persimmon with Beef Heart and Sole. (Get it?)
- Then, last week, in the first week of the semifinals, Ezra Lewis and Basil Yu went head-to-head using Octopus and CHOCOLATE.
So given the recent history of the event, a live chicken wasn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
How did it all go down? Well, you’ll have to watch the video. Wouldn’t want to give away any spoilers.
If you’re up for attending the final round of Battle Chefs next week, you can buy tickets online. It’s pretty much guaranteed to be the most interesting experience next Tuesday night.
