After seven long years, it appears that The Barking Crab (proper) out of Boston has cut ties with Barking Crab Newport and sent it on its way, unaffiliated. This has resulted in new ownership and a new name.

Find them on the web, on Facebook and in the Brick Market Place at 151 Swinburne Row in downtown Newport.

Looks like they’ll be opening March 7th, so don’t expect too much of a change initially.
