Wes Anderson Just Made The Cutest Short Film/Long Commerical

Adrien Brody finds himself in a bit of a Christmas pickle.

H&M probably dropped a pretty penny on a 4 minute Christmas short directed by Wes Anderson and starring Adrien Brody as Conductor Ralph. Given that it’s trending as #1 on Youtube, those marketing dollars have likely been well spent.

Like so many of Anderson’s characters, “Come Together” finds railroad employees facing some bad news for themselves and their passengers. So typical of his films, their response is a sweet combination of resignation and resilience.

Oh, and there’s some sweet threads, too.

If you’re thinking “Didn’t Wes Anderson do a short for some other company for the holidays not too long ago?” you are correct. He directed “Castello Cavalcanti” for Prada in 2013.

So if you’re a marketer tasked with getting a┬ámassive company┬ásome holiday exposure, hiring Wes Anderson is always an option.
