What Is Foxtrot Bravo?

Introducing the latest in Newport Industry lingo.

There are a few terms that separate those who’ve spent a lot of time on one side of Newport bars or the other. If you know what “four shorties of grandma” means you’re definitely know your way around the bar scene…which means you probably have non-Newporter friends who are worried about your “raging drinking problem”.

The thing about such terms is that they’re really only used for the real mainstays of industry drinking…and those shift with the urgency of glaciers. At this point, we’re guessing most of the pros know where this is going. For those of you who haven’t quite grasped it yet, here’s  Gronk with your final clue:

Gronk Fireball Gif

That’s right. If someone asks for a “Foxtrot Bravo”, they mean Fireball, as in the cinnamon whisky (though if you need that explained to you, you’ve probably enjoyed too much of the stuff).

So now you know…and knowing is half the battle.
