The Adventurer

In a nutshell:

Her wanderlust knows no bounds, thanks to sailing lessons and family vacations in St. John. She knows Ocean Drive, and all the hideaway spots on Brenton Point, like the back of her hand. When she’s not backpacking through Europe (again), you’ll find her on the couch drinking matcha green tea and watching the travel channel. Frequently daydreams about her next travel destination.

What she’s wearing:

Black leggings, tank top, a Patagonia jacket and sneakers. Minimal makeup, if any. She’s not trying to impress anybody.

How you met:

Cliff diving at Ruggles

Ideal Valentine’s Day Date:

Having a mini-picnic in the car at Brenton Point—watch the waves while munching on MISSION burgers and fries to-go. Surprise her with a Spotify playlist of chill remixes of her favorite songs, a travel journal and plane tickets to Maui a pretty wrap bracelet that she can wear anywhere she goes. Stay out at Hope for a few cocktails before running back to your place…

The Artsy One

In a nutshell:

Art, in all of its forms, is her life. She splurged her savings on the latest DSLR, but still has a dozen different photography apps on her iPhone. Obsessed with vintage shopping. She’s always spotted supporting her other artsy friends at their gigs in town. Sometimes you’ll go through long periods of not hearing from her until she posts a picture of her latest painting or sketch on social media.

What she’s wearing:

Denim cutoffs with black tights, a huge sweater and those big hipster glasses. A ton of jewelry—rings, earrings and layered necklaces.

How you met:

newportFILM screening at Marble House

Ideal Valentine’s Day Date:

Keep your evening with your boho babe low-key and avoid grand gestures—it’s going to be the little details she notices the most. Do dinner and drinks at Parlor, one of Broadway’s best-kept secrets, then head to Jane Pickens Theater for a movie. Bring along her favorite candy and surprise her at the end of the night with a new carrying case for her camera that she wouldn’t bother to buy for herself.
