Boston CNN Viewers Get An Eyeful Thanksgiving Night

Anyone tuning in to see Anthony Bourdain’s ‘Parts Unknown’ got to know a lot of body parts Thursday night.

Once again, Rhode Islanders can’t get anything nice. Boston-area subscribers to RCN Cable got hard-core pornography included with their CNN channel, a feature that Ocean State Cox Cable subscribers have probably noticed their cable news is lacking.

Variety reports that the incident took place around 11pm Thursday night.

According to local reports, subscribers of RCN cable in the Boston area were surprised to find hard-core porn airing on CNN’s channel around 11 p.m. ET Thursday, when CNN was carrying a rerun of the Anthony Bourdain culinary travelogue series “Parts Unknown.”

Now, this isn’t the first time that there’s been an accidental porn broadcast. In fact, if you hit up the Google, there’s no end to the number of incidents where somehow porn got misplaced ended up playing at the mall or landed in the VCR of Mrs. Henry’s 8th grade class. You’d just think that local cable providers might have some sort of firewall to prevent it from happening accidentally. There should be a bunch of machines with bright stickers saying “ABSOLUTELY NO PORNOGRAPHY ON THIS MACHINE”. Then there could be some machine sitting in a dark booth not connected to anything important labelled “Donkey Show”.

We’re kind of assuming that TV stations and the like already have blanket porn bans already, but they don’t seem to be doing much good.
