Cars & Coffee at Rosecliff 8-10am

The Audrain Auto Museum threw togetherĀ a Cars & Coffee event last fall in about a week and got a decent turnout. A month ago, they announced this event and the enthusiasm has been overwhelming. The number of cars entered had to be capped at TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY. This event is scheduled to last 2 hours, meaning that if you want to check out each car, you get to devote 29 seconds to each one.

Recent rains mean that the lawn at Rosecliff can’t be parked on. This means the cars will be parked at Rosecliff’s parking lot. Spectators have to park at Marble House and walk over. One piece of good news is that the forecast of a thunderstorm rolling through around 10am has changed to 7am rain ending by 8am.

Anyhow, if you like cool cars, this is the place to be Saturday morning.

6th Annual Newport Craft Beer Festival Noon-7pm

Two sessions. 30+ breweries. 100+ beers. If you like craft beer and Newport, RI, you probably already have your tickets. If you haven’t, better luck next year, because both of Saturday’s sessions are sold out. However, there is hope for those of you ticket-less beer lovers with FOMO.

The Wharf Pub/Diego’s Black Hog S.W.A.G. Release Pig Roast
