Wish you could spend a week at the Mansions? The Rhode Show has been doing just that.

The Rhode Show has been at the Newport mansions all this week, talking to the people responsible for the amazing holiday decor. On Monday, they talked to Trudy Coxe, CEO of the Preservation Society.

A winter passport ticket, which provides daytime admission to all three houses, can be purchased for $28 for adults, $9 for children ages 6-17, and children under 6 are free. Individual house tickets are also available and can be purchased online at

The Breakers opens daily at 9 a.m., while The Elms and Marble House are open at 10 a.m. The final tour for all mansions is at 4 p.m.

On Tuesday, they checked out some of the costume pieces that are part of the Preservation Society’s vast historic collection of over 60,000 items…as well as some of the items available for sale at the mansions’ gift shops.
