What appears to be a dead humpback whale has washed ashore at the Newport beach.

A dead whale has washed ashore at Hazard’s Beach and locals all over the island are heading down to take a look. From initial appearances, it appears to be a humpback whale, the same species last seen leaping out of Narragansett Bay last December.

As of now, the cause of death is not known.

Hazards Beach is located at 164 Ocean Ave (but you should already know that).

This story is developing.
