This Boston Time-Lapse Is Unlike Any You’ve Seen Before

| This “Layer-Lapse” is probably the most beautiful you’ll see Boston.
At this point, we’re all familiar with the typical time-lapse video. Ever since we were watching 3-2-1 Contact, we’ve watched flowers blossom and mushrooms grow in a matter of seconds rather than hours or days.
City-scapes have been particularly popular, as we watched the sun rise, bending beams of light indicating rush hour, etc. You watch the day and night pass very quickly in a way that almost feels like time travel.
But everything was taking place on the same clock. Now a photographer named Julian Tryba has changed that. He’s created a time lapse video where different areas reflect different times…in a way that’s much easier seen than described.
