Watch The First Episode Of Comedy Central’s Another Period RIGHT NOW

Waiting for a broadcast premiere is for peasants.

We just watched the pilot episode of Another Period, the new show on Comedy Central that’s a basically Downton Abbey meets…Meet the Kardashians, set in Guilded Age Newport. As historical parodies go it’s interesting. The servants get treated like crap, but that’s hardly a joke. More of a historic accuracy.

Add Helen Keller with some cocaine wine and things go into familiar reality TV territory.
